The TOMOE armor is part of the SS20 BUNBU-RYODO collection. This collection is about the harmony between art and the military.
The TOMOE armor is named after Tomoe Gozen, a legendary female warrior that lived in the 12th century. She was a samurai woman who leaded 300 samurai against 2000 warriors of the powerful Taira clan. Nowadays, Tomoe is still being re-imagined, appearing in anime, manga and video games. Tomoe also enjoyed playing the koto aka Japanese harp, which is the national instrument of Japan.
The TOMOE armor is comfortable to wear and is adjustable to fit your body size. The black armor futures a pocket in the front and in the back. The TOMOE armor is an ideal accessory for holding small items. It allows you to be on the go with your important items within hand’s reach.
