A group of friends that were fed up with the fact that more than 90% of all sportswear is made from plastics founded Iron Roots in 2017. Their aim is to create the best sportswear by combining design, functionality and sustainability.

Iron Roots makes activewear from fabrics that do not release microplastics. Microplastics are tiny pieces of polluting plastic released every time the garment is washed. Iron Roots also reduces CO2 emissions during production compared to polyester clothing with up to 60%.

Iron Roots works with factories who are dedicated to fair production standards to ensure the people who work there are treated well. Every good product starts with the right resources. They only use natural materials for their athletic apparel, including hemp, the plant of the future, eucalyptus and beechwood; from trees to athletic apparel.
